"Ah. You’re a refugee of sorts then," he said. Finally, the pieces were starting to come together. Granted, there was a chance that she was lying, but at this point he had no reason to doubt her. It would certainly give a partial explanation for some of the disturbances he’d been feeling. Partially, anyway.

"As long as you’re not planning anything other than simple coexistence here, you should be alright. How many of you are there, and is there the possibility of anything else arriving with you?"

He felt the harshness of his blunt response, but he could still feel the disturbance, like an irritant at the back of his neck. How she had remained hidden for so long was a mystery to him.

Relief, and the smile returns on her face. She nods. “Yeah, that’s exactly it.”

She resumes walking, now more at ease. She squints her eyes in thought, “Uh, well…” She counts off on her fingers, mumbling names under her breath. She easily passes past ten. “… Maybe around twenty or so. And these are just the people I know for a fact made it through. There’s rumors that there’s an entire elf colony hidden somewhere that also made the escape, and who knows what else. All these people I know are either just my family, or close friends that knew that something was about to go down.”

"Luckily, the one thing that shouldn’t follow us, probably won’t. Can’t. So we’re safe here, relatively." She clasps her hands behind her back as she walks. "I mean, there’s still the whole … humans being afraid of ‘aliens’ or people that aren’t human. We’re a big lot."

Sakura chuckles. “And only more appearing over-time, I imagine. My homeworld still exists, but it’s … Not in good shape, and it’ll only get worse. I can only hope to form something like a good ground-refugee-base fer the most of us, before the full swing happens.”

She breathes out a sigh of relief. “Damn, feels good to just ramble.”

He nodded, taking careful note in mind of everything she said. It wasn’t the first time he had seen this happen, though the occurrence in and of itself was very rare. He was beginning to believe that the woman herself posed no threat, but he wondered of the others.

"So it seems there’s a lot of you then. Any artifacts brought over here from your worlds that you know of? Sometimes there are problems with movement into a new world like this.”

There was a high possibility that the introduction of elements from the outside was what was causing the disturbance he felt. Since his domain was of the material, he surmised it would have more to do with what they brought over than the people themselves. Any situation that arose with that, he would leave to other personifications more capable.

I got even better news, he's returning home tomorrow. Oh my god, I've got to clean, and make a banner! He's coming home! *hugs carefully* I could just scream!

Hey if you wanna scream, go ahead, you have a free scream all you want pass today and none of your neighbors can do anything about it. You’re welcome.

we can be rudecutes together except ur the cute one

No you’re cute too, being rudecutes sounds fun. We can grab a pair of lawn chairs and insult random people passing by while eating popcorn.

1hunterhana asked:
I second that emotion! :D Party for happiness! And thank you. :)

Partying with you would always be an honer, my dear, it’s no trouble at all.

1hunterhana asked:

Man, when you say that you have good news, you aren’t joking, are you? That’s amazing though! I propose we have a party with much cake and froyo.

"A remote jungle, huh?" He answered softly. So the possibility that she wasn’t human was on the table, and she moved to a city from a remote jungle village. Well, that wasn’t suspect at all. At least now he had some sort of lead.

"To answer your question, I suppose I have visited more…natural locations in the past. They’ve probably long changed though, by now." He looked back over to her, an eyebrow raised.

"So, what brought on that sort of change of locale? It’s kind of a drastic change to make, is all I’m saying."

Sakura’s grin fades to a smile, and her gaze lowers to the ground. A smile filled with weight and quiet, empathetic pain. “Changed … yeah. Just hoping some places are left, here…”

There’s a heavy pause at that last question. She walks, the smile having settled to a line of neutrality. She’s thinking over the memory, and mulling over the question itself…

"Crazy shard of God tried to destroy every world, including mine as the finale. Family had to leave so we and the rest of the universes would survive."

She stops in her tracks. She turns her head to look to John, to observe him, his reaction. Her expression doesn’t shift, it merely seems … Tired, as if expecting dismissal. Expecting looks, stares, or horrified statements. She shifts her jaw, and finally breathes a soft chuckle. A half-smile.

"D’you believe me? It’s pretty crazy. It’s been about a year, since, now."

"Ah. You’re a refugee of sorts then," he said. Finally, the pieces were starting to come together. Granted, there was a chance that she was lying, but at this point he had no reason to doubt her.
